Step 1 · Getting Started

Download & Sign In

Install the app and log in with your registered Indian mobile number to access your tutor dashboard.

Sign In with Your Phone

The app opens to a clean purple-gradient login screen. You do not need a password — just your Indian mobile number.

  • Enter your 10-digit WhatsApp number in the input field
  • Tap "Continue with Phone" — an OTP is sent instantly
  • Verify the OTP to land directly on your Dashboard
  • If you are new, your account is created automatically on first login
First time? After login, stay on the app for 2–3 seconds. The system runs a background sync to load your profile data and activate all 5 navigation tabs.
Step 2 · Your Command Centre

Dashboard — Everything at a Glance

Your Dashboard is the home screen. It shows your profile health, quick stats, and direct shortcuts to key actions.

Reading Your Dashboard

The top header shows your name, your city, your Tutor ID, and a Profile Strength circle (aim for 100%).

  • Profile Status — shows "Approved" once your account is live
  • Matching Jobs — how many open tuition requests match your city
  • Active Chats — live conversations with student families
  • Verified Status — complete verification to unlock priority leads

Browse & Apply for Jobs

The Jobs tab lists all active tuition requests in your area. Enable location for the most accurate distance sorting.

Filtering the Job Feed

Each job card shows the class standard, board (CBSE / ICSE), subjects, fee per month, and distance from you.

  • Use City, Area, Gender, Class filters to narrow down results
  • Verified Lead badge = family has been confirmed by the DoAble team
  • See how many other tutors have already shown interest
  • Tap "View Details" to open the full job sheet

Job Details & Applying

The detail screen shows everything about the assignment — exact location, schedule, duration, gender preference, and fee.

  • Location: area/landmark so you know the commute
  • Schedule: exact time slot the family wants (e.g. 4PM–8PM)
  • Duration: hours per day expected
Send Interest
WhatsApp sends a prebuilt message to our team and logs your interest. Send Interest pushes your full profile directly into the family's review queue — faster for getting accepted.

All your messages, interest requests, and active chats live here — organized into 4 clear tabs.

4 Message Categories

  • Admin Alerts — official announcements from the DoAble team (policy updates, new features)
  • Sent — requests you have sent to families. A "Pending" badge means the family hasn't accepted yet. This is normal — wait 24–48 hrs.
  • Received — families who discovered you and reached out directly. Accept to start chatting immediately.
  • Active Chat — live conversation threads with students/parents. Keep discussion strictly to academic scope and scheduling.

Platform Rule

Do not share personal phone numbers, WhatsApp links, or social profiles inside any chat. Accounts doing this will be suspended.

Step 5 · Your Profile

Build a Strong Profile

A complete profile gets more views. Aim for 100% profile strength — it directly affects how many job matches you see.

Profile Sections

  • Edit Profile — name, photo, qualifications, experience. Changes here go into "Pending Verification" — avoid making edits unless necessary.
  • Manage Subjects — add or remove the subjects you can teach. Updates apply instantly, no verification required.
  • Preferred Locations — choose the areas and cities you're willing to travel to. Directly controls which jobs appear in your feed.
  • Update Days & Time — set your available days and time slots. Keeps you indexed in the automated match pipeline.
  • Verified Tutor — complete this for priority placement (see Step 6).
  • Join Community — connect with tutors in your city on WhatsApp.
